Chongqing Liberation Monument
Chongqing People's Liberation Monument is the CBD of Chongqing city in YuZhong Distrit. It was firstly built in 1940 for honoring of Dr. Sun Yatsen and rebuilt in 1945 to mark the victory of anti-Japanese War, with the name of “Monument to the Victory of Japanese War”.General Liu Bocheng rename it as "Chongqing People's Liberation Monument".
Circling the Liberation Monument, there is a Pedestrian Commercial Street which was built by Chongqing Government in 1997. It is the intersection of MinZu Road,MinQuan Road and ZouRong Road. The street is not only the trade center in the upper reaches of of the Yangtze River, but also the ‘First Street in West China’. It has become the city center since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.There are more than 3,000 stores and lots of star-grade hotels and many banks and stock markets and entertainment places.

Transportation:
A. Take Bus No. 271, 181A, 348, 361, 371, 402, 405, 462, 465, 502 (Air Condition) or 602 and get off at Jiefangbei stop;
B. Take Light Rail Line 2 and get off at Linjiangmen station.
